Lately I've been in the habit of saving partially completed LJ entries as visible only to me, then editing the timestamp when I finish & publish them. But I've only just now realized that LJ inserts these into the f-list feeds of people who've friended me in the order they were drafted, not according to the timestamp. So they're showing up sandwiched between posts people have already read, usually a page back, and nobody notices. I was wondering why they were getting no comments, and now I know -- nobody is seeing them unless they navigate directly to my journal's URL, as I'm sure people rarely do because LJ doesn't give you much of a reason to.
I'm just going to republish these, but is anyone aware of a simpler way to force new-old entries to the top there they belong?
