apolloooo....aton OHHNOOOOOOOO!!!!
all-state was absolutely amazing. there really isn't any other way to describe. getting to see wonderful people like claire and jessica and mark and sam, who i don't get to see all that often, was sooooo fun. the music was great, the conductor was nice, and watching that hardcore sport of curling while listening to kale sing hey jude way off key and then later making up a song about apollo ohno with tyler was pretty much glorious. i love my friends. a whole freaking lot.
the maynard ferguson concert was INCREDIBLE. i honestly wasn't even really looking forward to it until this week, and i enjoyed it immensely. the whole band signed my poster, and they were all sooooo nice. maynard was such a nice old man. i can't believe i got to meet all of them. and open up for them! (which went really well) and play WITH them!! oh it was totally amazing.
today we went to the lakefront after school and played around until the rain got too heavy and too cold. it was so fun!!
47 or 48 school days left, i forgot which one. oh well. either way it's down into the FOURTIES now!!! wooooooooo!! :) :)
