Then, he broke bread.

So I went to the grand opening of "Guitar World", (I think that's the name of it) the new music store by Northgate. It had tons of stringed instruments, as one would expect, and it also had a lot of drums, lighting equipment, keyboards, and the typical accoutrements of musicians. It was fun to watch all the customers-the really avid musician types-because they seemed so dazzled and excited about the amount of equipment there. To me, all the guitars look the same. They have different colours and different shapes, but I can't tell which is better or more expensive or rarer. But these people seem to have such a knowledge, a passion, and a thirst for music like that, and I think that's awesome. I like when people have such a strong passion for something. I wonder what my fervent passion is? I don't know if I have one. That makes me sad.
On the plus side, I got free two t-shirts tonight...one was a store shirt that everybody got, the other was a "Fender" t-shirt that I caught. It was a prize, you see...they were tossing out prizes and the shirt pretty much fell into hands. What fortune! Typically, both of the shirts are XL...which means I'll probably never wear them. But I still keep them...something's wrong there.
By the way, my last chorus show was last saturday, and it went wonderfully and it ended wonderfully. The overnight thing at Max's house was definetely the most fun I've had in a long time, and I'm glad I could end my RHS chorus career in such a way. I'm really glad I could do chorus all four years, because let's face it-a lot of the fun in high school came from chorus related stuff and most of my best friends are from chorus. So if you came to the chorus show, I hope you enjoy it and I'm really appreciative you came. If you could've come but didn't, you can go to hell. Heh just kidding. But seriously.
Anyway, it was fun to finally sing a full solo song (and a duet!) as well as have a lead character and have lots of women scream for me. If you read the phrase "have a lead character" as "lead" being the element lead instead of a synonym for "main", you get some really fun imagery. Try it.
And then, of course, the night ended in a very fun way. I could be more specific about why it was so fun, but I'd rather be vague and make you wonder what I did. Besides, I think I'm going to stop writing and eat some pie anyway because I'm not in a good mood tonight and I like pie.
Also, if you rearrange the letters in "pie" you get "pie" and pie makes me happy.
