El Calendario Maya
Happy first day of Spring! And what a lovely day it was-probably low fifties, overcast, and raining cold, whipping rain.
But nonetheless, I love spring (and summer) weather much more than I do cold weather, so this is good news for me, as it will bring back that great season when I rake all the accumulated leaves, take them back to the "compost pile", and then realize that we have no grass anymore, but just a lot of dirt and maybe a few brown spiky plants. So it's always a fun time, when I fondly remember how the electric company took all our grass and replaced the soil with a fine level of clay and then sand, neither of which are good for growing anything.
But seriously, I love Spring. And Summer.
I saw my first bee the other day too. I ran away.
