I guess I should update quickly.
A few things have happened:
I got to go into Long Island which is not the city, but it was really good to see my friends. I've missed them more than I thought.
We now have a christmas tree. It's 6.5 feet. Fake, and we decorated the ornaments with sharpies to make it look festive. Excellent.
The end is near! At least in terms of this semester. Sweet Angry Jesus, I can't wait to take a break.
I just finished my 20 page paper on Jane Austen and dead chicks (not really, but that's what I've been calling it). I have another paper on Jane Austen and stupid chicks...someone remind me again why I decided to concentrate on the 18th century as my literary specialty? The last paper is violence on television. With enough psychology studies to choke a very large thing (cut me some slack)...I should be able to pull through.
I'm not sleeping as well as I should be, and I'm not sure it's just finals this time. Usually, I stay awake more often during finals...but this is getting brutal. I was up until about 7 AM this morning, for no really good reason. My body just refused to shut down. And this has been happening for almost a month now. I'm constantly exhausted, but somehow I can't fall asleep when I get into bed. It might be time to consult a doctor about this.
Alright, paper for monday: Done.
Paper for Tuesday: Working on it.
Paper after that:....I've thought about it....
Final: Completely and utterly unprepared.
