Where Anne Has a Saturday...

Let's see...

1) Healthwise, my leg is nearing the far turn and to quote David Letterman for a crappy bit he did years ago; "And DOWN the stretch she goes..." I can see that light at the end of that particular tunnel growing brighter, thank the universe. My Diverticulitis is still raging in an active phase, and that concerns both myself and Veronica, but really, what can we do about it? You take what you can, you eat when you can, and you hope that it stays in this stage and does not progress.
2) Both Brini and Hunter have colds. Not really terribad ones, but their systems are a bit depressed, and there is some barfing when they insist on grooming themselves and suck down mass quantities of hair to comfort one another. I love cats. ::eyeroll::
3) It is the weekend, and we spent some time being cute and doing the now weekly ritual of laying abed late on Saturday, and talking. Get your minds out of the gutters, people... we CAN do more in bed than sleep and anything else. It's soothing to listen to the radio, and jsut TALK about things that are not urgent or pressing or stressful. Yes, we do hug; with the way I have to sit with my leg up all the time, we are across from one another all the time, and I am a freaking tactile person being denied touch... it's not a pretty thing, let me tell you, when I get too long without a hug. Our weekends fill that need, and we giggle a lot, making fun of the neighbors-- someone should really tell people that when you walk past open windows, you can be HEARD, so DO NOT air your family secrets that are just honestly embarrassing. Thank you.
4) I wrote some today, and might draw some after dinner. I frittered away far too much time playing on Facebook, thank you, and wallowing in some fanfic, but I finally got the epic last story read of Clint/Phil's 'Equilateral' series read and as it is her last bit of fanfic in this pairing, it filled in each and every hole she'd had in her AU, and filled it nicely. I wasn't sure of that series, and still am not sure it is anything NEAR headcanon for me, but I like knowing WHY characters did what they did and what events the author has in mind as the seminal ones that shape them to be different than the canon ones. This tale did just that. I ache for that universe's Phil and Clint, and am glad that, at the end of it all, they found each other and were finally able to heal. I am *sure* in that universe, Loki didn't get the job done, and that is all I am saying, just in case.

Tomorrow, the start of a new weekly thing... my list of "to do" and "hopes".

writing, schmoop, cats, ronka, health, amusing, musing, art, muttering
