Today is tomorrow, sorta...
The weekend went nicely, actually. I got some sleep in-- not a lot, as somehow I got a micro infection on my leg; imagine a tiny point midway up the back of my right calf that feels like someone is tapping the edge of a hot coal randomly. Yeah, that kinda of suckiness. It woke me up every so often, and it was the sort of pain due to reforming nerve endings that are being hit with, as I said, a tiny infection and so they retaliate by being offended. I took an ibuprofin tonight, which should isolate that bit of pain, and most of the rest is stuff I'm used to... it is sadly amazing how much pain a human body CAN become used to when it has no other option, trust me.
Other than that, we watched Moses and Nefertiri chew their way through all of Egypt, and Yul Brenner sighs and goes along for the ride while snarking out some of the cheesy lines of movie badness. As a friend noted here the other day... "So let it be written, so let it be done..." ::snicker:: The fun part for me is to sit there and pick apart all the wrongness until Veronica tells me to shut my mouth and enjoy the cheese... ahhh, its good to have studied ancient egypt and the early to late dynasties of Egypt... its as amusing as letting Veronica watch movies that deal with things like viruses... ;D
And tomorrow starts another work week... and this week we're supposed to get amazing amounts of rain. Yay. Not. My arthritis is already acting up; this should be ever so amusing... or hell, it might end up being not that bad; with me you honestly never know.
