This made me sad. :(

I kind of feel conflicted, I mean, I agree with all of them that it had an amazing run and it's been ten years but at the same time, I can't imagine not turning on the TV and seeing SG-1. As much as I understand, I don't want it to end by any means. *sniffle*

Thanks for posting this!

I know, I just want to cry.

They shouldn't end it now. No way, not after the introduction of the Ori, and new characters and everything. They set it up for numerous more seasons, but then they just ripped that chance away despite all the potential.

You're welcome.

I don't watch the show and never have, but I mentioned to Michael how upset you were about it being cancelled and he said (being the sci-fi watcher he is) that it's been planned for a long time already and even though it was sudden news to the public, some sources have been saying it for a long time already. They had only planned 5 or 6 seasons and were going to drop this once Atlantis started.

Maybe you guys should feel lucky you got so many extra seasons, though I can fully understand how sad you must feel at losing one of your favourite shows. It happens frequently to me ... except they don't usually run so long. (um... like Firefly for example?)

Yeah, they have been talking about it behind the scenes for quite a while I think. I just thought that after they brought in new cast members and a whole new set of bad guys, that meant they would be keeping the show running. If they hadn't done that I wouldn't have been surprised at all. But they gave the show so much potential, just to take it all away. :(
