I think Twitter is quite fun. I've learned not to follow too many people, especially famous people who Tweet all damn day long. I do like seeing what the people I care about are doing daily. I have a client so the Tweets show up on my desktop because like fb I don't want to have to go to the website. I am using twirl and I like that. For a while I made filters and for that I used TweetDeck but found it to be too big on my screen. I think the followus.com is where you find famous people to follow or maybe it's wefollow.com.

That's a bummer about your username. I think mine was taken too so I used an anagram of my name. Some famous people use 'therealnytel'. Or what about 'astronytel' or some technical word in astro/geo that sounds cool? If you're using it as a fandomy thing then no one in your real life would be able to search for you like that and you cold always give it to them if you did want them to follow you. You'd only use your real name if you wanted to be found.

I'm glad you are joining! It will be fun to see what you are up to more often. I *fail* at lj lately :( Sometimes my flist is too much to wade through even with filters and it's easy to check my Tweets daily and respond to people because I only follow 30 or so people and like I said I dropped the ones that Tweeted nonsense all day long.

I think twitter would be fun, because I can always think of short things to say throughout the day, but something that's not quite worth making a post about. Plus, when studying, distractions are good. :) The client idea sounds good, I may have to look into that, once I figure out a username. I'm not sure if I want it to be a real life thing yet, but I either way I don't think I'd use my actual name, I want something else...

Lj can definitely be hard to keep up with. Lately it seems like it's been a little bit slow (at least on my flist), but it definitely goes through spurts of busy. I'm sure once all the TV shows premier it'll get crazy.

I'm going to try and brainstorm up a name this weekend. Hmm....

Oh, yes, and I wanted to ask you... do you have Yahoo IM too? My lj-talk wasn't working, and I didn't even bother installing it on my new computer.

I did that too when I first signed up for Twitter, thinking of things to say but at that time I didn't have a keyboard phone so I waited until I was eligible for a phone upgrade. :)

Yeah, new shows will get everyone talking again. :)

Eh, I'm ok. not been feeling well, Been to the walk in clinic twice and a doctor in the past 3 weeks and they either say 'oh its just stress' or they want to do all these major tests (which stresses me out to think about paying for). I'm starting a new medication in the morning so hopefully that will help. But I am feeling better this week than last.

I think I probably will do a poll, once I come up with enough options. I thought of another really good name, but it too was taken. :( It's hard, I've used 'nytel' for so long!

Okay, I will add you on yahoo. I had msn and aim, but I haven't yet installed them on this computer, and probably won't. I like Yahoo...
