Yes, I know, I'm a week behind. Real life just sucks sometimes.
I could probably write a decent amount about this episode if I wanted to/if I tried, but unfortunately I've got to get to bed soon, so it isn't going to happen. Anyway, things I wanted to say.
This episode was certainly better than Harmony, though it's in my opinion near the weaker end of the episodes for season 4. Don't get me wrong, I loved/adored the whole John backstory thing, but it was the rest of it. I've never been a huge fan of the episodes in SGA (or SG-1) where stuff happens on Earth. I liked this one better than most, but I wasn't thrilled. I thought they kind of pulled the story out of nowhere. Admittedly it was alright though. And the fact that Dr. Lee was in this helped. Lol. I love him, seriously. That and Ronon in earth clothes. *drools* Now that part was great. :D I also liked what they did with the replicator girl at the end. Oh, and the music in this episode totally kicked ass. In fact, I think it made the chase/action scenes worthwhile. And Bates. You know, I was always wondering what happened to him, though they really should have given us this information earlier on, like say the season after we last saw Bates, not like 3 after. Um, yeah. That's about all I got without getting super in depth. Overall it was all right, so I'd probably say 7/10.
Oh! And you know that scene where John's talking to his ex-wife on the bench? Did anyone else see that runner go by on the path? Because I swear it looked like Torri Higginson to me.
