Maelstrom Thoughts (Just the initial ones)

Mar 04, 2007 21:27

I am in complete and utter denial over this. Kara isn't dead. She can't be. Some how, some way she's coming back. And at this point I don't even care if it's as a cylon.

Her destiny wasn't for her to die. She needed to face her fear of death, fine. But Leoben said she was going to the place between life and death. BETWEEN, not to death. I'm holding onto that one word until she shows up again. I don't know how it's going to happen, but it will. I am not giving up hope, though I may still cry myself to sleep tonight.

Other thoughts:
- As well done as this episode was, it could have been better.
- Firstly, they set it up way too much, though I guess that does mean that we're 'satisfied' with the conclusion. Ugh.
- Second, the episode should have ended with Lee pinning up her picture, you know, so that when she comes back she can rip it off the dead people wall.
-  Sam? He was great, but then we didn't even get to see his reaction. Damn it. We'd better see him in the next episode.
- Both Sam and Lee are going to be riddled with guilt. Sam for not making her take the down time, and then Lee for convincing  suggesting that she fly.
- Did we really need any mention of Dee? No.
- Kara and Lee ended as friends, which was good I guess. Except it isn't the end.

Hmm, maybe when she said she'd see him on the other side she meant like on Earth? How awesome would that be, except then we'd probably only see her again in the series finale. But what a kicker, last episode ever and up pops Starbuck!!

Final words: SHE ISN'T DEAD!!!!!!!
