Cirque du Soleil: Quidam
I went to Cirque du Soleil today and it was awesome!!!
I haven't been to the circus since I was in elementary or middle school, and I think that was the UniverSoul Circus. UniverSoul is incredible, of course. It is the only black circus in America. But seeing another type of circus is always cool. And Cirque du Soleil, at that! The show in DC was Quidam and was basically this Alice in Wonderland type of show following a young girl as she learns about the world of this circus. It was pretty awesome. We bought our tickets back in September, thankfully, because they were definitely sold out by last week.
I wish I had the kind of talent those performers do. And I wish you could take pictures in the circus because that would be something to keep forever.
Also, I completed my personal statement first draft a couple days ago, and I finished another paper just this morning. Bringing my total word count to 2,408. But bringing my completion rate to something far above that. :)
