Hopefully the concert-going will just be postponed and not cancelled
Thanks for the responses to my music dilemma, guys. But of course, something had to go wrong. The tickets are now sold out so it doesn't matter what I would have done. No missing practice and no concert in April.
However, now I'm trying to go to one they're having in Atlanta. It just happens to be on my last day of school and ATL is on the way to my home. So I'm thinking fly in that day, go to the concert, stay at the house of someone I know who lives there, then fly home the next morning. And this time I actually have someone who may go with me! Keep your fingers crossed.
Now I just have to find a place to stay. The only problem with that is all the people I know work out of the home and so would have to get up early the next day (since the concert is on a Tuesday) for work. And I think it'd be pretty inconsiderate for me to ask if they mind me walking into their house around midnight. I know I could get there and to the airport and everything (there's always public transpo or a cab), but the time thing bothers me. So, hoping some lovely friend will offer me and my friend a couch or something for those few hours between the concert and our flight home. (I posted this on facebook so maybe I'll get lucky.)
*sigh* So outside of that, my spring break just ended. Didn't do anything special, really. Went home, hung out with some friends and ended up at Biloxi Beach in Mississippi for a day. I also got to meet mkm417 's boyfriend, which was fun. We all hung out in the mall for a few hours. I love her to death and we hadn't seen each other in far too long, so that was exciting.
And now I'm back at college for six more weeks. Oh joy. -_-
