School is OVER!!!!!!!!!!
I am officially finished with all that is important that concerns high school. My last exam was today, and tomorrow's the last day of school. Clearly, I don't have to go, but I'm going to anyway, just to say goodbye. And because it's the last day. There's supposed to be a crawfish boil after, but I'm not going because my friends and I from other schools are going to eat then swimming at my house.
But yeah, no more high school for me!!!! ^__^
And, starting next week, I'm going to be working more or less full time at my job. More money for me! Yay!
On a completely unrelated note, I've realized something about my writing. Well, mostly why I can't/don't anymore. What i think it is, is that I don't really have a distinctive voice when I write. When I used to write poetry, it'd usually be a story in poem format. But once I started writing fanfics, I think my own ideas were tainted because I've read so many of them.
I believe if I can establish my own voice when writing then I can begin to write fiction again. Not sure how to get cause this to happen, but yeah...
However, I was published in my school's annual literary book this year. Remember this post, where I completed
hcolleen's exercise? Well, I entered that, just becuase it's the only thing I've written recently. And they included #2 in the book this year. I'm happy about that, but #2 wasn't even my favorite when I wrote them. *shrug* Whatever, I guess.
