Declaration '06
I'm just getting back home from my second night at a youth conference at my church. And it was so beyond SPECTACULAR!!!!! The first night was great because the praise and worship was on, and the pastor was calling out the people there for the completely wrong reasons (fi.e. or a girl or guy). It was hilarious! But tonight...OH MY GOODNESS!!! There were so many people getting saved and speaking in tongues...it was amazing! The Spirit of God could definitely be felt! People were healed, and getting the Holy Spirit, and everything! I am just ecstatic about this entire thing, really!
Okay, so the deal with the youth conference is to get God back with the youth of today. It's called Declaration 2006, and is an international conference being held at my church. It's going on for three days: Tuesday night to Thursday night, and is so filled with worship and praise. I think it's next to impossible to leave without being touched or receiving something from the services.
I'm really enjoying it, myself, and I just love watching people be healed. It's like, their emotions are so tangible. It's just a great experience just to be there to watch, since there's nothing I need healing of or from myself. Still, it's great. I just wish I could go in the daytime, but my summer class prevents that. So, I just go to the night sessions. I got a cool T-shirt today, too. Sadly, tomorrow's the last day. It's gonna be hyped! I already know it! ^_^
