So I was totally waiting until tomorrow to post...
...And then I read 
mhmartini's fox torture and deathfiic. I am still cringing. When she says not for the faint of heart, she means not for the faint of heart. This coming from a complete Karasu/Kurama fangirl. Amazing and original, but a torture fic by every meaning of the word (including the one where you feel some of the pain).
Onto other...nicer things, I went to the 13th Gates this past Saturday. It's a haunted house put on by a college near me. I think it starts to lose the appeal once you go every year for a few years, because not much changes. Although they did add a part where you walk through the graveyard outside after getting coming out of the hearse.
My friends and I plan to go to the Corn Maze Friday the 13th. The Corn Maze is similar to the haunted house what with people jumping out at you dressed in costume, but it's also a true maze. They use this wide open field and grow the grass really high, only cutting the parts used as walking areas. Then you have to find your way through it with the "scary people" jumping/attacking you. Fun Fun all around! ^_^
Something else! I found out while at the 13th Gates that we'll be having a Halloween ball this year. I am so freakin excited and absolutely refuse not to go!!

So this seems to be turning into a Halloween post (because I love the holiday!), so now let's change topics. Yesterday we had a volleyball game against the best team in the state. We lose, of course, but at the end of the second game, a teammate and I knock into each other while diving for a ball. She hits me in my eye hard enough to sit me out for the rest of the game while holding a bag of ice over it. And enough for me to have a headache all freakin day today.
It wasn't a good day by any accounts. First, I only had five hours of sleep because I had homework to do after the game. Then, I woke up with a headache, bruises on my knees from diving for the ball, my eye hurting, and my body aching from lack of rest. So I get up and dressed and stuff, about to get breakfast, when my new (and altogether cute) puppy decides he wants to shit in his cage. TWICE! So the stepdad and I clean (him cleaning, me holding the dog). And by the time we finish, it's time for me to go to school, missing breakfast. Then, lunch is nasty so I skip and notice I forgot my tylenol at home. I was pretty much pissed the whole day. And slept in three out of five classes.
Hm, little shout-out like thing.
Blossomwitch, so glad you've returned to the land of the speaking. Having you posting and IMing just makes my day. ^_^
Now, for a picture I've been wanting to post for the longest. It doesn't rival
