Love this! I always enjoy dialogue only stories, but they have to be written by someone with a fine understanding of how to make the voices ring out without providing "Donald said" or "Timmy exclaimed!" You have the technique down well and give us a lovely little interlude. I like the title too! Thanks for writing (even at 4 a.m.!) and sharing.
Yours,
Jenna

Thanks for reading and commenting, Jenna! I love all-dialogue stories because they're usually light and fun to read, plus they provide the opportunity for a writer to give her characterization muscles a good workout. An enjoyable exercise all way around. Glad you enjoyed it!

Oh hell, same here. Everyone should have a Timmy (or Donald) in their life.

Thanks for taking the time to read and leave a comment!

Thanks for the nod--if I had any tiny hand in helping prompt that, YAY! What a sweet story, and a beautiful little look at their love for each other. They both describe each other perfectly!

Yup, your story -- anus beans and sticky chickens in all their sugary glory -- sparked the idea for this little early morning romp. Seemed logical to me that if Donald worried about which failings of his Timmy might gripe about at the office, he might also be stewing over whether or not Timmy saw him as the asshole everyone else described him as being. And once Timmy had doled out reassurances, he'd naturally have to turn the tables on Donald and say okay, now how about ME?
