Its funny how you find different types of people in Sydney Park depending on what time of day it is.
First up at 7am are the serious health nuts. Its all top of the line spandex gear and ipods strapped to arms with sweat bands and those springy cool expensive shoes. Then it gets to about 10am (the time I went for my run this morning) and there are more mother types with their newborns, jogging behind strollers, trying to shift that baby flab. In the early afternoon/evenings its all people and poochies. Those 9-5 folks that dont want to go for a run at 7am but still want to get a jog in before the sun goes down. Plus the dog gets a run, so everyone wins.
I never realised how big Sydney park was until I went for my first walk around it the other day. And it's really nice in there too. Ponds and trees and mangroves and swans etc. Lots of different routes to walk. Maxx rode his bike alongside me the other day while I jogged/fast walked but not quite jogged around. We must have looked like some amateur Rocky style training pair with him on his pushy holding my water bottle and keeping pace ;)
I have discovered my socks are a great place to keep my phone and keys while jogging. You'd think they would fall out but they don't.
