(no subject)
I just got done at AM-NY for my first day of work, and it was crazy and tiring but right as I left, a managing editor asked me to check the spelling of my name, and it's going to be in the paper tomorrow! I didn't write the article entirely but I "contributed reporting" for a sports article about the yankees taking steroids. awesome. of course, to report for that story, i had to talk to drunken yankee fans in sports bars who repeatedly suggested that I "relax" and join them and their buddies for a drink (oh yeah, and these fans were gross 58 year olds) but it is kind of worth it, now, afterwards. I just hope I don't have to do sports again for a while.
