Okay, I don't know how all awards work! I admit it!
There was a question on the PZ that I was curious about though. Why were there only two books for the sci fi novel category? Was it that not many sci fi novels were entered, or for all the sci fi books to come out by Aussie authors, only these good were considered 'good'?
Not bagging Sean or Andrew McGahan, I applaud you both (and indeed, everyone!) for your shortlistings :)
