Query.
We heard about a 1996 Honda Odyssey minivan for sale. The original owner is only asking $5300 but Eric's aunt knows her and assures us she'd probably take $4500. It's got 131k miles on it but according to our expert witness (Eric's dad) that doesn't matter so much.
Here's the problem: I hate minivans. Is that wrong? To me, they're right up there with SUVs in expressing the obnoxiousness of a lot of suburban moms. Plus, I'm nervous about driving something that big.
There's lots of other cars out there that we could buy, maybe that would have a fewer miles on them or that I'd feel better driving. And I'm uncomfortable with the hard sell that Eric's aunt has been giving us.
So I turn to you, my beloved LJ peeps, to help me clear this quandary up. What do you think?
