Thanks to all my amazing friends for a wonderful birthday! Especially the friend who sent these. You know who you are. *hugs*
My co-workers had birthday cake (moist and chocolatey) for me, and we all sat in the lunchroom together for salad and sandwiches. The kids (with Eric's help) got me the first season of "Bones" on DVD. Every time I turned on the car radio it was songs I wanted to hear. I am loved deeply and well. I am starting a new career, a new life.
Today, right here, right now, it's all good. Here's to 34!
P.S. Other birthday badasses for today: Kal Penn, Dev Patel from "Slumdog Millionaire," and of course, a couple of guys you might have heard of named Vladimir Nabokov and William Shakespeare. Yay!
