Theological Peeps.

This evening, Sarah and Hunter were, for some reason, discussing the proper way to talk to God. Sarah demonstrated praying out loud. But that wasn't good enough for Hunter, who delivered this timeless line:

"You do not talk to God like, 'Hello, God.' You be silence. Like this." (leans forward, mouth primly closed)

In other news, the pet fish in Hunter's preschool classroom died and was given a proper burial behind the school building, where apparently an informal pet cemetery has been started for unfortunate classroom pets. I asked Hunter what had happened, and he said, "Our fish died. We buwied him behind the school. We put leaves on his buwial." (quite proud of that last word)

Some days I feel so surrounded with blessings I can hardly believe it.
