Happy Birthday, Hunter!
Before I go to bed I just want to wish a happy 3rd birthday to Hunter, who is currently asleep and can't read yet anyway! :)
Happy birthday, Hunty! I'm sorry to mess up your birthday this year by postponing your party until next week; I hope you will enjoy Mommy's bat mitzvah anyway. I just want you to know that not a day goes by when you don't make me happy to be alive, and I pray that you will grow to be a man as patient, loving and generous of spirit as your father.
You are unfailingly sweet-natured and affectionate, and I am proud to be your mother. I love that you can't stand to hear another child cry and that you will do anything in your tiny power to help, as you demonstrated yesterday when you shared one of your precious stickers with the little girl in the grocery store. You remind me, always, that as long as there are children there will ever be such things as hope and joy and love.
I promise, if I can just get through these next couple of days, you will have an awesome birthday party next week. I love you!
