Anyone want to cook me some breakfast?

Feeling particularly cranky today, not sure why. Just one of those easily irritated sort of moods. Annoyed about stupid junk, but trying to focus and not think about things of so little importance. (Go figure, I'm feeling like beating things up, and I can't login to the game.)

Dustin's wedding is in just under three weeks. I need to get my dress in for alterations some time this week. Looking forward to the wedding, not so much the dress.

Ken has a friend coming to visit us for a couple of days in November. Maybe that will nudge us further toward buying a guest bed. I'm actually considering buying a new sofa instead, and just moving the sleeper sofa in to the guest room. I was thinking that if we do that, then it can be closed most of the time, giving me more room for craft stuff in there. If we buy a nice mattress pad, maybe the memory foam type or something, it would make that bed a bit more comfortable for use. I'm also tired of the sleeper sofa in the living room, because the stupid couch pads continually slip forward, needing to be adjusted every 10 minutes of sitting on them. (If you move around like me, anyway). I was looking on the Rooms to Go page the other day, and saw this sofa. I ordered a fabric swatch from it to see how it would look against our big blue wall and with the yellowish other walls in the living room. It's a denim fabric, so I also need to see how that feels. It sounds like it would be durable, at least, which is important with Jocelyn in the house. We'll see.

Speaking of house stuff, we spent a few hours at the Addison house yesterday and managed to get two car loads of stuff out of the house. There isn't all that much left in there now. I have some of the fancy stuff left in the kitchen: wine glasses, vases, crystal stuff. Also, other breakables and such are piled onto the mantle, lots of fragiles to move over. My closet has some dresses, stuffed critters, and a few more things in it. Jocelyn's closet has a few boxes of packed things up top, and several boxes of clothes in the bottom. Not sure about the computer room, that's where Ken had been working, but I think he emptied everything out of the bottom just about. The shed is still full of holiday decorations and such, but that's the least of my worries for now. Right now, I just want to finish clearing out the house and getting it cleaned up so we can put it on the market. There's no need for the shed to be clear before we do that.

Guess I'd better get on that laundry. Fun stuff.
