First Day Back
Well, things are better today. I woke up farely early, and somehow managed to have no trouble getting out of bed. I had such a horrible night's sleep. Anyway, I got all of my check in stuff taken care of and bought books while the campus was deserted, which was nice because there weren't any lines. Then I checked everything out with the band stuff, got my recruiting binder (ooh, it's so fancy too...), and talked to Mr. Boggs a little. After that, I sat around with my roommates and watched Without a Paddle, which was actually a pretty funny movie. I took a nap for a bit, then went shopping. I actually got quite a bit, so that was nice.
Anyway, I've enjoyed my day. I did quite a bit, but it wasn't busy or anything. Just nice. Of course the fact that my jaw hurts did complicate that a little, but it was still pretty nice.
I'm realizing how nice it is to already be settled somewhat in a place when moving things back. My internet worked right off the bat, as does the cable on the tv. And I didn't have to move funiture, only the stuff I was unpacking. It still took a while, but was a lot better than the initial move.
Anyway, the move back went great. All of my roommates were moved in before me, but everybody's been scattered at different places because we're still on break, at least until class starts tomorrow...
Since I have to be up tomorrow for class at 8, and since I haven't been sleeping too great, I'm gonna go so I can hopefully get a good night's sleep. I'm just hoping that class goes alright tomorrow. I'm nervous about the one because I've heard things about the teacher. I may actually glance through that book before class.
