I mentioned my weird missing beer issue to the folks over at homebrewtalk. Looks pretty likely that I miscalculated my 5 gallon line, and I added way too little water to the wort before I pitched the yeast

while drinking unmade beer might explain the noxious stank that creeps forth from her hanus, id honestly expect her to sleep more
