Alex wandered into the restaurant, dressed like she was ready to have some fun. Heading for the closed-off section, she spotted Millie having a little rest and walked towards her.

Millie saw Alex coming in and did a little wave.

Alex gave her a small wave in return. "Hey," she said as she reached her.

"This is Claire's soon-to-be-sister-in-law, Betsy," Millie said. "Betsy, this is Alex Eames. She's a police officer where Claire and I work. She works with my husband, actually."

"Pleased to meet you," Alex smiled.

"Good to meet you, too," Betsy smiled back at Alex.

"Grab a seat and a feather boa, and a favor box," Millie grinned at them both.

"And what do you do?" Alex asked, referring to any job she may do. She was at a disadvantage here.

"I'm a physicist actually," Betsy replied as she took a seat.

Alex did as Millie instructed and grabbed a feather boa and a favor box before sitting down next to Betsy. "A physicist? Nice. Anything you're working on?"

She put her boa on, "I just finished my post-doc work at Maryland and I've started to assist with a gravitational wave project,"

"I'm probably not going to understand much about that project."

[csu_claire_fish]

She laughed a little, "Hardly anyone does,"

"I'll be right back," Millie said, going to greet more guests.
