First of all, its Friday, which is always a good thing!
I got to yell at someone at work today. It felt good. I haven't yelled at anyone in a long time. I work in law enforcement and we had a drunk civilian who wasn't listening or following directions. The boss told him three times to sit down and shut up. The fourth time, was my turn. I threatened to put him in handcuffs, in a holding cell if he couldn't follow simple instructions. All the guys in the vicinity got a kick out of it.
I had an email from a dog breeder last night, about an upcoming litter that I am interested in acquiring a puppy from. She had contacted my vet, who gave an excellent reference. (yay!) Actually, she quoted the vet, "This woman definitely deserves a puppy!" (yay x 10!) I'm very excited. All my previous dogs have been rescue. I love rescue dogs because they seem to know they are getting a second (or third or fourth) chance. I haven't had to raise a puppy, meaning less than a year old, in over 25 years, so this should be interesting. I figure now is the time to do it, since my work schedule is more stable and flexible. So, I emailed the breeder back and sent her my deposit. In about ten weeks, I should be bringing home a healthy male pup. YAY! Did I say I am excited?
Richard Burgi was not on Blue Bloods last week, but according to all info, his ep is tonight. From the still photos I've seen, he looks good! Better than he did in Burn Notice.
It's a beautiful day, 70 degrees outside. Going to make the most of it before the cold front moves in. Happy Friday!
