Just thought I would share the info that
Better World Books is offering major discounts on their inventory, and free shipping. I went there looking for some good used copies of a favorite mystery series and ended up getting 17 books for $2.74 a piece. Shipping and tax included!! The regular price per book would have been $3.98 each, plus tax and shipping. Quite the bargain. I have ordered from them before and their books arrive as stated; in very good or good condition. So, if you're looking for some new books but don't want to pay full price, or dig through secondhand shops looking for the book you want, this is a good clearinghouse to buy from. They also donate for each book bought, to a literacy charity of some type.
In other news, I have decided that I hate February. Pretty much every night I have come home from work the past eleven days, I just want to put on my pajamas and crawl into bed. With a glass of wine and something good to read. I think I may start taking vacation time in February rather than July. Nobody where I work takes vacation in February unless they are going on a cruise, or to Florida, Mexico or somewhere else warm. I may not be able to afford to do that, but at least I won't have to get up and go to work in negative temps. In the dark. Then come home in the dark. bleah
