Oh and I forgot! We are trying to figure out what to see on West End in London! We want to see one play and one musical. We have seen Phantom Of The Opera once in Sydney and once in New York, Chicago in New York and Wicked in Melbourne. So what else should we see?
Any suiggestions?

'Avenue Q' is one of the funniest things Ive ever seen. Its a bit rude so might not be for everyone but Ive seen it twice and bought the cd soundtrack, its that good!
'Stomp!' is also a great show and a bit different from the norm.
'Thriller!' The Michael Jackson musical was the most dreadful thing I have ever seen on the stage. Reviews of 'We Will Rock You' The Queen Musical say much the same. There are a lot of shows in London at the moment that feature the music of a particular band or artist as the theme. 'Jersey Boys' is the only one that I have seen positive reviews for that I trust.
The other theme is movies. 'Dirty Dancing,' 'Billy Elliot' and various others have runs at the moment. I havent seen the Lion King yet but I gather the costumes and spectacle are amazing, but the show itself isnt very good.
There is plenty of other things going on in theatres that arent traditional musicals too. It might be worth checking out The Royal Opera House for something a little more high-brow (its also a stunning building) or plenty of great plays to see. We have a listings magasine called 'Time Out' (which has a website full of reviews and tips). It will be worth having a look at this and making a plan a month or so before you come because tickets for the really good shows are hard to get (unless you pay a fortune).
Good luck!
