SO RANDOM. And these are not necessarily my favorites for some of these couples. Perhaps I should also do another picspam of "kisses of the non-epic variety which are also excellent quality"? ANOTHER DAY.

AHHHHHH. I was so bitter after the cancellation because I thought a ninth-hour reunion between these two would end up feeling forced when I really understood Amy's reasoning behind them staying apart for a little while.
Except while rushed, this was as perfect as it was possible to be. The whole finale is one of my favorite series finales ever, but I love that they pulled these two off.
And I love how while she's pouring her heart out, Ephram just keeps looking over her head wondering wtf she brought the ferris wheel for, since it is totally unnecessary as she would have had him at hello.
And the rest of the DVDs need to come out already, plz. These caps are horrible.

OH FUCKED-UP OEDIPAL RELATIONSHIP, WHY SO EPIC HERE?
It cannot be said that I ship them, but this moment is totally my favorite scene in the original series. The one moment where two characters get to really communicate and say everything that's been boiling under the surface. I love that she passes on her cross to Shinji as the next survivor. Everything about this is perfect.
Doctor Who 4x13: Journey's End

What I really love about the Confidential bit is that I wouldn't be AT ALL surprised if someone there was like, "Okay guys, be sure to catch it from as many angles as possible so the fangirls can have their LJ icons!"
Anyway. Really, The Parting of the Ways should be on this picspam, but I just did that in one of my most recent posts, so this one made the cut instead. I used to ship Ten/Rose like crazy, and then didn't, except then sometimes I still love them anyway in my heart even as my head no longer finds them enjoyable! IT IS VERY STRANGE.
And in my head the entire Ten2.0 thing is ridiculously idiotic, but my heart is still like, TEN AND ROSE AND KISSING AT PRETTY BAD WOLF BAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH ROSE'S HAIR BLOWING IN THE WIND AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! And so here we are!

AGAIN IT WAS A TIGHT RACE BETWEEN THIS AND S1, EXCEPT...uh I don't have S1 on DVD, for one.
BUT THIS IS ALSO AMAZING. Actually my favorite part is how right before he grabs her, they grin at each other...in the exact same way they grinned at each other in the Returns finale before they started dancing together.

This is so not my favorite for them overall (the "moving on" scene = BESTEST EVER) but it wins on the epic scale due to the most perfect song choice ever and the spinny camera. Oh, VM. We had some good times, and the week this episode aired was one of the very best.
Everyone had to contribute their own dialogue to match the facial expressions! Do you remember how the entire internet flipped out looking for the song and nobody knew what it was for a day or two? How everyone had to have like three icons of this scene uploaded at once IMMEDIATELY? I remember watching this on loop for DAYS.

ULTIMATE OTP OF ALL TIME. It was aaaalmost a competition between this one and the Dog With Two Bones "I am so much better dead!" kiss, except not really, because on the *~EPIC~* scale this one always wins.
Them finally saying I love you without Aeryn getting concussed immediately afterwards! The music! How perfectly Aeryn's misgivings set up their issues for the rest of the season!
BUT MOST OF ALL IT IS THAT LITTLE STRANGLED LAUGH JOHN MAKES WHEN SHE SAYS THEY WILL NOT ACT ON IT. And I really love how these two can play a conversation for so long with just constant attempted kissing through the entire talk.
