So um. HI! If anyone still bothers to look my way, which with me being so amazingly active here would be a miracle. HELLO TO ALL THE FISH I friended during this hiatus though! :D Not that much has changed since my last not-really-update, regarding my way too busy for my liking RL state. Hence the lj fail. One thing that's changed though is that I

My problem with aSoIaF is I read the books so long ago I have forgotten a thousand details (and some quite major occurences, apparently). And ahahah, I was coming from being obsessed with The Wheel Of Time around the time I started A Game Of Thrones, so the (current) length was actually refreshingly small xD ...Now I am looking at all 959 pages of A Dance With Drangons' hardcover glory and kind of gulping.
Arya, Ned, Tyrion and Dani are the ones that fit perfectly for me. A lot of the others are also close to the way I imagined them, but Jon, Sansa (no matter how many times I am told she's amazingly beatiful I'll still think she's very unfortunate looking :/), Jaeme and Cersei who I was pretty sure were supposed to be younger...
Now that I have finally decided to try to make this journal not dead again I guess really need to go friend some Inception fandom people and communities (am working the old fashioned lurking and stalking way for now lol). Yes, I look at ae_match and there is so much great stuff there, but I haven't had time to really sit and read through most of it yet. Stupid studying, it has been constantly interfering with my enjoyment of this fandom *l*. But it's been the gift that keeps on giving and I love it :D

It's difficult to remember everything that's going on in Song of Ice and Fire; I think I gave myself a break of a month tops between two of the books, and then I felt totally out of the loop with everything!
I totally agree! Sean Bean was basically the reason I started watching Game of Thrones, and Arya, Tyrion and Dani ~are perfect. I'm okay with Sansa, I got used to her, but Jon can't act imo, though he's admittedly very good at sulking :)? Also, Cersei has that pained/vulnerable look all the time, which always makes me go, "duh, aren't you supposed to be this cool, manipulative woman?"
You totally should! I can't believe the amount of talented people in Inception fandom. I'm not very good at reccing and most people have already read the stuff I'd rec, but you should totally read allothi, cherrybina, gyzym, jibrailis and weatherfront (among many, many more) if you haven't already. (:
