It really saddens me up that Brad Delp died. Boston was my gateway classic rock band.
Strange as it may sound to those who are forced to listen to music with me, I had never had any opportunity to hear classic rock until I was almost graduated from high school. Steve Miller wasn't all that in the EU, and the town where I went to high school only got two radio stations - one C&W and one college rock. Couple of months before escaping McLeansboro I started dating a guy who was about five years older and played in a classic rock cover band. Boston FUCKED ME UP. I had never heard anyone sing like that in my life. Still haven't, other than maybe Chris Cornell.
Anyway.
Fuckin' Brad Delp. Man. I can't recall being this weirded out by a celebrity death since Dizzy Gillespie.
