My Views

I really hate having insomnia, but sometimes it erupts the best thoughts in my mind. I was to dedicate this entry to my two boys that are graduating this year: Jeffery Adam Gielecki, and Michael Wayne Dulong. (Also a special dedication to all of my girls.) I love you guys.

To My Two Favorite Boys:

Growing up is the hardest part of life. In a matter of 4 years, you must define who you are, what you stand for, and who you want in your life. You have to survive numerous bouts of rain before you find a rainbow. You're going to lose hope, be sad, and get down somtimes. It's how fast you rise from the fall that matters. There are going to be days when you want to do nothing but sit in a dark room and listen music, and there are going to be days that a simple smile from a friend can brighten your mood. Before you approach the stage to recieve your diploma, take a look at your past. Remember the uneasy feelings of maturing to the grown men you both have become. Remember the dark nights you've spent in sorrow, the crazy nights you've spent partying, and even the tearful nights after a break-up. All of these situations have shaped you to become the amazing and unique individuals you are today. As one chapter of your life is completed, you will enter college life and adulthood. I'm proud of you both, and I know you will be successful in life. I'm always here for you two.

My advice to both of you: Remember the past, but look to the future. Remember the rain, but look for the rainbow. Remember akward silences, but look for laughter. Remember being broken-hearted, but love like you have never been hurt. Remember that no matter what obstacle crosses your path, I believe in you both.

I love you
