One of the things i hate the most about stupid people, is the ones who know one thing, and think that knowing one thing is enough.
There's lots of things to know. There's other things. There's exceptions. There's things that make the first thing completely irrelevant.
The worst has to be time travel story discourse, and the morons who can't understand that time travel doesn't have one set of rules because time travel isn't real.
"Bill and Ted said X, therefore Terminator is dumb".
Just because one storyteller said that X is impossible doesn't mean that Y story can't do that.
And just because one storyteller said that X is impossible doesn't mean you need to create headcanon explanations about how something created as a narrative obstacle makes logical sense.
Of course, it's not fucking helped when dipshit writers add utter fucking nonsense. I'm looking at you Timecop, you utter piece of trash.
I'm a big fan of time travel stories, so it really hurts that other people who are fans of it are so fucking brainless.
