Livejournal support is run by volunteers, so it's acceptable that they can't actually DO anything about the stupid limitations, or answer the complicated questions I ask.
On a betterly managed site, things that need to be fixed would be forwarded to the people who can fix them, and things would be fixed.
Many of the things "livejournal cannot do" are only because the people in charge have always been too lazy to make it so they can do it.
The two major problems that i think LJ should fix are re-enabling community renaming, and the mechanics of the interest list.
and hilarity just struck!
Poll The answer to the second question is going to pretty obvious.
(Well, at least i thought it was. I would have said just plain "no" - I don't think they're lying about it, they're just ignorant)
The answer to the first question is in the comments. But it gets long and boring, so here it is:
They are SORTED by UPDATE, but only the first 500 CREATED are listed - very important difference.
But livejournal support claims it is based on when the interests are ADDED.
They're volunteers, that's great, but if they're going to answer a question, they should make sure they know the fucking answer.
Am I wrong?
