Yawn, sniff, sigh
This weekend has been nice - Friday was relaxed due to me being off for the day - still feeling crappy from the cold or whatever we've all had in this house...Saturday evening we went out for a meal in the Gate - the pizza wasn't the best but the company was good :) It was nice to see T again, made me realise that I really do miss the London bunch quite a lot...will just have to go visit them I suppose :D
Sunday...Dom and I went over to baby-sit his dad for a few hours - Lorna (Dom's mum) is on holiday and that left poor Barry alone and bored. So we went over, got fed and sat and chatted for a while before legging it back to Newcastle before the 'Boro/Sunderland match began...
Did the usual Sunday evening thing of watching Rockstar INXS (I don't know what we're going to do now that the series is finished) and playing a roleplay game - a new one (again) which Stew is running.
It's good fun; set in a colliseum (however you spell it) and we're a race of cat people. Which is wierd as I've ended up being 6'5" and 185 lbs, so I am very tall, fairly lithe and slightly cat shaped. But no tail...
Very silly :D
Even sillier is that we have a 'medic' well, a gladatorial helper, who is 8 years old. Currently the other kids think he's cool since after one of our first fights we decided we'd spike his hair up with blood (which we called goblin)(don't ask) but his mother apparently doesn't like that... *grins*
What a shame...
Anyway. We have sort of survived so far, but only because of large quantities of salve and healing potions...in some ways, I'm glad I'm a girl because at least then I get salve put on which stops me scarring...
Fun :)
And today I have spent some time trying to write and failing miserably *sighs* Also played EQ2 for about 20 mins and got bored.
Trying to decide if I should go for a nap with Dom since he came back home at 12 feeling really crap...
Oh, good thing: Dom has an interview at Sage tomorrow for the post of Quality Auditor :D *poings*
