In a few weeks, myself and a few others will be embarking on a 130 mile cycle ride across Scotland, in the name of charity.
We'll be cycling from Oban to Dundee, spread across 4 days, and most of it's uphill, which is going to be so much fun.
The charity we're doing this for is the Burns Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi - you can find more about the ride
here, and if you want to sponsor us (as a collective - we're not doing individual sponsorship) then we would be very grateful.
We're paying for the trip ourselves - so any money (even if it's just £1) will go to the burns unit and help them to make things better for the people who need them. We've also all been in training for this, and with any luck the weather won't be too bad (though it's Scotland, mid-july - it could be raining the whole time...) - I'm sure there'll be pictures if we all turn out to be drowned rats...
If you want to donate, the information will be on
this site, and as I say, any amount will help - you don't have to save the world on your own, but if you can spare a few pounds, you'll be helping the nurses who're going there to make a very real difference.
Thank you all for your help.
(if you want to leave a comment for me about this, or you want to know more about the people who will be doing the ride, then leave a comment and I'll help as best I can.)
