They only know who Leonard Cohen is because of the Sopranos,
They only know about Siouxsie's song "hong kong garden" because of that Queen Elizabeth movie with Kirsten Dunst, they only know about Joy Division because of 24 hour party people yet they still think Trent Reznor wrote that song "Dead souls". And... they don't recognize Kurt Cobain's contribution to the song "Mourn" by Apoptygma berzerk. The riff I am referring to is from the song "The man who sold the world" which was a cover of a David Bowie song that Nirvana had performed. Kurt Cobain actually worked with Apoptygma Berzerk on the album "7" and performed the riff for mourn.
