The Saskatchewan government has a surplus of $700 million from gas and oil revenues. However, they are about to hike our natural gas prices by (I believe) 11%. Nice.
Another school shooting, in Montreal. When I watched, there were 21 injured- 8 critically and one girl dead.
A truck near Redvers hit a schoolbus head on- I believe there were 10 kids injured. He was drunk of course- gotta love small town life. Fuck that, GET A LIFE! Driving drunk, passing a vechicle and hitting a fucking school bus head on? Maybe it was too small to see or he didn't see the bright yellow? Missed the huge strobe- flashing lights on top of it?? My kid goes to and from school every day in a school bus!
And the cherry to top it off- the hospital in Humboldt has banned surgeons from performing tubal ligations on women. You know- religious reasons and all. So the women who get pregnant and don't want babies will now have to go to Saskatoon to have an abortion instead.
On a brighter note- Harrison started preschool last Thursday. He loves it and the teacher loves him. She can't believe how happy and friendly he is. Even if she can't understand a fucking thing he says. :P
