This time from teine

1. What part of yourself would you most like to understand better? If
someone could just download that understanding into you, Matrix-style,
would you accept it?

It isn't exactly a part of myself, but... I'd like to better understand how I am perceived by other people and what things I do cause which reactions. But I wouldn't have it downloaded. Understanding is a path, not just a destination.

2. What would you say to a friend who was just starting to realise that
they were becoming overwhelmed with stress, becoming depressed, and was
considering going to ask a doctor for antidepressants?

Ironically, of all the questions, this was the easiest one to answer. I would suggest to them, rather than going to see the doctor, to go to a therapist. Because for those with non-physical problems, therapy is often more of a help than antidepressants. But either way, a good therapist will be able to determine with the person the right course of action.

3. If you could have relocated the rat anywhere in the world, just by pushing a button.. where would you have sent it?

Is anywhere but where it was a good answer? Because that's the answer. Probably somewhere polite and nice. Maybe a nice forest or something? A city I never intend to visit? Perhaps Detroit. Surely they have a lovely rat population.

4. Considering labels that get applied to you, occasionally or
regularly, which one do you dislike most? Why?

Tactless. Mostly because the people who use this tend to use it as a reason not to listen to what I have to say. And it bothers me more because I truly take a vast amount of time, in uncertain circumstances, to find the right words to express what I want to say. I know many times my words come across wrong, but I don't yet entirely understand how to fix it, and it frustrates me to no end.

5. Who would you most like to get onto livejournal? Why?

Truthfully? No one I know. I'm quite happy with my online life and my RL being fairly seperate. I'd be interested in reading some of the details of writers or authors, but other than that...
