Adventures in Linux

So, here's the story:

My wife and I were given an old Pentium 3 Toshiba Laptop from a friend of mine for our wedding. GREAT! The only bad part is that he gave us an older wifi card and it was lacking enough ram to really let it run well under only 256 megs.

I start researching distributions of linux with a lower ram requirment, and I stumble upon Damn Small Linux. Wonderful! Answer to all my problems!

Here's the only issue: the older wifi card isn't recognized by DSL. So, I can't use the laptop for the only thing I really wanted to use it for; surfing the web.

Anyone have a old spare network card they would be willing to gift my way?

Or, could I borrow that wired adapter from you, Rip? The one we gave to Beth?
