(no subject)
I work too jobs. Restaurant, and an office job. My cubicle is right next to the kitchen. I just had to sit through a conversation about how long everybodies microwave at home takes to pop popcorn. This is not the first time I've had to endure such muttering. I know I do not always talk about the most exciting things, for instance right now, but is it necessary for these conversations to last any longer than 1 minute tops? If life was fair this is how long that conversation should have lasted.
"hey jim, my microwave takes only 1 min 30 sec to pop popcorn."
"Oh really, mine takes 3 min."
End of conversation. Should it really go any further than that?
