The chop goes on
Today the girl that is training me was actually there. I didnt like it...not because she is a bitch or anything like that, but there wasnt much to do and I felt in the way. I asked a guy that has been working there for ten years how long it should take to get the hang of things and he said 1 or 2 weeks. So, basically its o.k if I suck right now, which makes me feel a lot better. I hate asking people what I should do next after finishing a task. I wish I could just already know, but I'm sure it will come to me in time. Yesterday I was joking about almost cutting my thumb off, but today I really did almost cut the tip of my thumb off, only about 1/4 inch. I wouldnt have missed. I'm buying a kick ass knife to fix the situation.
