A normal post
I thought I'd post just normal stuff for once. No trauma or sticks or anything.
Joe and I are groovy. The boy is groovy too. We're all groovy and happy.
A lot of gaming going on. We've got... 3, possibly a 4th, right now. Garou, Supernatural/Cthulhu, Victorian Vampire, and possibly a Sabbat Vampire that we're considering. You can tell it's summer!!! It's the only way such things could occur up here. We've also gotten into Guitar Hero. Well, we've gotten into watching the boy and visiting friends play Guitar Hero. We have the World Tour one, so I can hear Tool with Maynard singing (which is the only way I'd get the damn game), and it's relaxing when others are playing.
I finally saw Howl's Moving Castle for the first time. I'm now hooked. I'd seen My Neighbor Totoro many, many years ago, and loved it, but this is the first time I'd seen anything else by this guy. I'm totally in love now, and have borrowed three other of his flicks to check out. If they're as good, there's a legitimate chance I'll end up owning the set. I never thought I'd get into animae?!
I learned about a new (well old) library up in St. Cloud that has a section in the sub-basement that you can go into that has a demonology/witchcraft section! It's part of a monastery, and I am SOOOOO there. I can't wait to climb in and disappear. I know I will too. It's a good thing St. Cloud is an hour away, or the boys would never see me again. I'm now looking for any time I can find to make myself a road trip.
I guess that's it. Not much going on until school starts back up again. I'm doing some reading on the new field, and some reading on the old field, and some plain old reading. Summer is about the only time I get to read for fun! Miss everyone terribly (serious homesickness today) and hope to visit next month!
