My crazy weekend!
Ok so this weekend was alot of fun. Friday night I went over to my friends house, because I didnt want to be home. We ended up sitting around all night talking to his neighbors, getting drunk, and playing video games. It was pretty cool.
Saturday I went out with afore mentioned friend and one other to a brewery near my house, It was alot of fun, we got to do a tour of the place, which was awesome because we got to see all the machines up close. They dont put you behind plexiglas or make you walk between certain lines, you could actually walk up and touch the machines, but you arent supposed to O:-)... It was great, we spent five bucks and got to drink about 36 oz of GOOD BEER(NO SHIT!)[1}. Well actually I got alot more then 36 oz but whose counting? ;) Then after we left the place we ended up going ovcer to the house of this couple we met at the tasting. They were very cool people, if a little more tactile then I liked[2]. But then I went back and stayed at another friends house last night.
Today was probably the best day of the weekend though... I went out with my friend, picked up my girlfriend(thats why today was the best), and we went to a store out in Laurel called "The Chamber Room". Its basically a weapons store. They sell all kinds of bladed weapons and pewter statues of dragons and "gothic" type stuff. It was cool cause I got to see a friend I havent seen in months while we were there.[3] Then I went out with the guy who I spent the night with, and my girlfriend to Cunnigham Falls State Park. Its a beautiful park that has a really nice waterfall that is in it. We met up with two of my other friends and climbed the falls. It was alot of fun, especially when me and my girlfriend starting kissing on the rocks. >:) But then they came and dropped me off at my moms house where I will be staying for a few nights. Which means I get to see my little sister!!! WOOT! XD
[1]: The place is called Flying Dog Ales brewery. Part of their slogan is whenever they say "good beer" you say no shit. Also I picked up an application for them.
[2]: The couple were really nice, and friendly, but they seemed to be a little more touchy feely then I would expect of people who had just met. Maybe it was just the beer, but yeah.
[3]: This friend moved to Ohio a few months back, and he doesnt come down very often, so seeing him was a special treat.
