funny how out of all the days i finally feel like posting to the old LJ is one of the days when i'm trying to beat back a cold. feeling a bit on the shitty side and GAH giant lump in my throat. glad i only get these once a year; i swear a cold takes more out of me than the average person.
so let's see, what else... oh right, after my bit of a rant post last time, i met someone on okcupid who lives relatively close by. we've been talking online since last Friday, and i think she is some sort of distilled awesome, if it's possible to distill awesome. there's a livejournal too, which is definitely on the friends list.
i find comparing my last post to this one is almost hilarious (HINT: last post, March 1 - seems like ages ago). karma? maybe. amazing how things can change so quickly, yes? :D
