It aired for two seasons before being mysteriously canceled without a word mentioned thereafter. It was like it didn't exist. A good deal of it was filmed in and sponsored by Busch Gardens but when I went to Busch Gardens and did not see one sign, one glimpse, one glimmer of advertisement or promotion for the show, I figured it was doomed. When I asked the workers if there was any sort of information and they had never heard of it, I knew it was a gonner.
Anyway, it was about a stay-at-home dad who was a writer and a mother who was a veterinarian (at Busch Gardens). They had an amazing amount of adopted children (because they couldn't turn down a child in need) and a ton of adopted animals that the mom would take care of. It was cute and honest and serious... at least, from my junior high memory. *le sigh*
A close second would be Joan of Arcadia because that show is AWESOME. It had cheesy moral family values without being cheesy. I am impressed that they could pull of a show about a girl talking to God and an atheist is the one who introduce me to the show! Have you seen it? You may like it.
I was thinking Joan of Arcadia. The first season was great. THe 2nd season was a little wonky, til the very end, when I *THINK* she met the devil...but that was never confirmed, because it was cancelled.
Second Noah.
