Interim's done (or at least close) and my forays into electronic music are likely finished with it. Not that my class wasn't kind of fun. If you're interested in any of the stuff I did, it's
here. I leave early Saturday morning on a flight to Miami, which will be followed by a week aboard Radiance of the Seas touring the Carribean with 20 or so of the Grant Clan (mom's side). I plan to soak up sun, eat like a king, and do not much else.
I wasn't worried about the whole graduate school thing until I started hearing from people who were already accepted to multiple schools. Suddenly, my choices all seem too lofty. It's hard to remember that some of the due dates for the applications were less than two weeks ago since I finished them all in December. I mean, I'll give it another month before I start worrying. Still, the Mayo timeline says that they start interviewing people soon...argh. It's a sudden wave of stress that I just don't need. I'll just have to sort it out with several days of rum cocktails and expansive beaches.
My brother applied for a job at the U of M in the biochemistry department, which amuses me, since his degree is in physics. Apparently, it's a spectrophotometry position dealing with lasers or holography or one of his interests. It'll be good to see him at a job that doesn't involve getting up at 5 am to open up the bagel shop.
Good night.
